Secondly, this article delves into the essence of Xi Jinping's thought on scientific and technological innovation in the new era. Starting from the new development philosophy of "innovation, coordination, green development, openness, and sharing", and based on the important assertion that "innovation is the primary driving force for development", it emphasizes the significance of scientific and technological innovation in the context of global competition and economic transformation. Simultaneously, this article elucidates the theoretical proposition of "steadfastly following the path of independent innovation with Chinese characteristics", explicitly stating that "talent is the foundation of innovation, and innovation-driven development is essentially talent-driven", highlighting the decisive role of talent in scientific and technological innovation. Finally, this article systematically discusses the realistic path of the methodology for the implementation of this idea, and elaborates in detail on how to implement Xi Jinping's Thought on Science and Technology Innovation in the New Era. Based on this, this article aims to provide theoretical basis and policy suggestions for the construction of China's scientific and technological innovation system in the new era, and promote the further high-quality development and sustainable progress of China's scientific and technological cause.
